Yesterday, Facebook introduced its phone, the HTC First, and a new interface called Home.

Home will work with Android devices running Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean (I know… no Gingerbread support) and will be available on April 4 in the form of an app, through the US Play Store.

It will see a better notification system, photographs and messaging system in both the lockscreen and background – Facebook will introduce a new feature called Facebook Heads, where you can touch on contact and read their message while doing something else.

Here´s a recap of the presentation:

Home will eventually be available for tablets and will see an international launch in the coming months.

In terms of HTC First, the device will be available on AT&T for $99 dollars in the US.
