The iPhone is … well, the iPhone. You know the name, you hear it in your head and it sounds just right – another name does not match the picture of Apple´s phone in your brain.

Did you know that Apple considered calling it the “Telepod”?

According to former Apple advertising lead Ken Segall, at an event at the University of Arizona’s Department of Marketing, Apple, in addition to iPhone, considered the brands “Telepod,” “Mobi,” “Tripod,” and “iPad.”.

Non of those names go with Apple´s phone, don´t you think? Which one do you like the most?
