The wait is over: Evasi0n, the iOS 6.1 jailbreak tool, is finally here.
Apple released iOS 6 back in September. Since then, jailbreak users have had to be stuck on iOS 5 in order to keep Cydia, the jailbreak store; update and stop having an unblocked device; or do a tethered jailbreak, meaning they would have to turn on their device using a software tool through a computer to get it running again.
Thanks to evasi0n, developed by the evad3rs, we can enjoy a clean and full jailbreak where an device on iOS 6 or 6.1 can be turned on and off without any problems.
To get evasi0n, go to the official website, download it and launch it.
Follow the instructions and voilà! You can install your favourite themes and tweaks. Just be patient: due to an incredible amount of people trying to download apps through Cydia, you might not be able to install anything for the next 48 hours.
