Get ready to see less-than-five-seconds-long videos on your Twitter feed.
Vine, a service for video uploading, has announced it was acquired by Twitter and that is launching today with an app for iOS.
Available for iPhone and iPod touch, here, for free, Vine “lets you create and share beautiful, short looping videos”.
The length of the content must be 6 seconds (the equivalent to a 140 character tweet), so don’t worry, you won’t have to tolerate too much stupidity – or brilliance, who knows.
There is still no word on an Android version, so Apple users, rejoice.
