#N64emulatorfix – We want what we paid for Zodttd

On May 31, 2012, developer Zodttd announced on Twitter a new, and faulty, Nintendo 64 emulator for iPad and iPhone, with an update on the works.

“By popular demand, I’ve released #n64ios on Cydia and it supports all iOS! A large update is to come so show support and get in early! :)”

It’s been over 6 months and the emulator is still not working correctly, with the controller spinning uncontrollably, because of the use of the iDevice’s gyroscope system– a bad idea.

N64ios costs $1.99 on the Cydia Store, a price we were more than glad to pay, instead of installing an illegal version, trying to support Zodttd in the development of an emulator that a lot of users want and dream about. Lots of developers have come to Zodttd offering their help, but he has refused to accept an interface that would actually work.

That’s why here at EPELTECH we started a campaign with the hashtag #N64emulatorfix on Twitition, to get what we were promised.

If you have a jailbroken device and bought N64ios – or would love to see a fully functional Nintendo 64 emulator on one of the best mobile platforms of the world –, please sign the petition. It won’t take more than a minute, and it will help getting one of the best emulators for iOS working. You can also tweet the following “@zodttd #N64emulatorfix“.

This is far from over… We will get an emulator that works, because WE PAID FOR IT.

Thank you.
