Activate Passbook on iOS 6 beta 1

Activate Passbook on iOS 6 beta 1.

WARNING: Try this at your own risk.

Apple’s new operative system will enable users to pay using an iPhone through Passbook, a digital wallet solution by the Cupertino company.

It is possible to preview it and get a hands-on the new feature if you have the latter device with the first beta of iOS 6.

Apple has not released the app but there is a way to get around that. Follow these steps:

1. Launch Safari and visit passsource.com, a website that lets you create Passbook tickets for free.

2. Leave everything as default on the customisable fields.

3. Tap “Create” – a preview of the pass will pop up

4. Press the Add button

5. Open the Passbook

Watch the how-to video here:

Passess will not work, but you can have fun exploring the upcoming feature.
