TVCatchup available for Android

Watch live TV on your Android.

If you live in the UK you may have heard about TVCatchup, a service that lets you watch TV on your computer and iOS devices for free, or so it was before.

Android users can now enjoy live content without having to subscribe.

TVCatchup on Android

Watch a wide selection of live channels including:

– BBC News

– BBC One

– BBC Two

– ITV

– e4

– Channel 4

– Dave

The app is not available on the Play Store, but you can download the beta here. It works great – the only downside is that TVCatchup for Android has adverts (you won´t notice them).

If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, download the app here.

As an alternative option, using mobile Safari, go to the website on your iPhone/iPod or iPad.

On an iOS device you can choose between Wi-Fi or mobile quality, depending on your connection, to make the streaming faster but with less definition if you choose the latter option.

Using TVCatchup on your mobile can consume a great amount of data, so keep a track of your contract/pay as you go credit.
