pod2g says jailbreak works on iOS 5.1.1

Hacker pod2g updates Twitter.

Few minutes ago pod2g, hacker in charge of the jailbreak tool, has updated his Twitter feed:

“@pod2g: OK, tested on an iPad 3,1 running 5.1.1. Jailbroken untethered. 🙂 No issue.”

Writing from a New iPad, it makes me happy 🙂

We don’t know the official release, but it looks like it is imminent.
