New iPad launches in 12 more countries.

As Apple continues to catch up with demand of the new 3rd-gen iPad, ship times from the Apple Online Store have improved once more. As noted by TheNextWeb, orders from the U.S. Apple Online Store (and other online stores, including the Korean store) are now shipping within 5-7 business days, down from an estimated 1-2 weeks.

Availability of the new iPad at brick-and-mortar Apple Stores is also very good right now, with most walk-in customers able to purchase a device with no delat. As iPad availability increases, the new iPad has also launched in 12 additional countries today, and can now be purchased in a total of 48 countries, with a rollout to 9 more countries planned for later this month.

The 12 countries involved in todays launch are: South Korea, Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela.
